Kieran has a new best friend

Leo Tanaka is no longer Kieran Walsh’s best friend.

Leo Tanaka, who held the title of Kieran Walsh’s best friend for all of Grade 3 and some of Grade 4 suddenly finds himself replaced. Kieran’s choice for his new best friend took everyone by surprise. It is – Omar Farouk, the new kid in the class.

After school Kieran was seen offering an ice cream to Omar while a sad Leo watched nearby.

Will Leo Tanaka move on and find another best friend for himself before the end of Grade 4? Will he give Kieran another chance if he comes back? The class is divided on what might happen but most kids feel Leo will be able to find a best friend much better than Kieran, who was never even that good.
