Elliot finds ten dollars

A regular weekend visit to the neighbourhood book shop turned eventful for Elliot Granger after he discovered a ten dollar note in a book in the self-help section. Elliot who works as a sustainability consultant has never considered himself to be the lucky types. His heart skipped a few beats when he randomly opened a book at page 79, a number he is unlikely to forget for the rest of his life.

Did Elliot take the note and put the book back? Or did he purchase the book with the note inside? Did he leave it on the bookshelf as he had found it, or did he return the note to the cashier but buy the book?

The answer was not known at the time of writing this news report but for sure he did the right thing, because come on it was a nice weekend.
